Holly Carlton
Holly joined NPL in 2002 as a volunteer intern from LBJ Science Academy. She worked throughout the collection learning the various tasks required in a collection such as ours.
She was especially talented with delicate conservation tasks and was a great help to us duting her stay.
Comment: Students from High Schools often enjoy learning about these collections and gain some real exposure to work in this type of environment. Many return for several summer sessions and, when possible, their input is included in abstracts and papers.
