Rebecca Comeaux B.S.

Rebecca joined NPL in 2006 and spent most of her time in the field learning to use new digital mapping equipment, collecting fossils and imaging. She developed her work within the aontect of ArcGIS and went on to present her portion to the Texas Academy of Sciences in 2007. She identified thousands of specimens that were collected for the repository and for an educational collection destined for the GBRA.

Rebecca was supported by the Seashore Endowment of the Texas Natural Science Center. A grant to NPL for the Canyon Lake Spillway Gorge project.

Comment: Rebecca has now graduated and has been working in the UTCT facility. She has decided to move on into graduate school, and is now back in the Jackson School of Geosciences to study fluvial sedimentary geology. During her first semester she is again at NPL as a graduate research assistant working on the NSF funded imaging project.
