David Dufeau

Dave joined NPL in 2000 and had a hand in all aspects of the collections. He helped develop some excellent protocols and was renowned for supplying humorous names for dismal tasks. For example, our conservation area became known as the 'Fossil hospital' He produced some excellent examples of specimen reconstruction drawing on his skills in vertebrate paleontology and was very effective in all aspects of outreach. He was much involved in the enormous task of selecting and preparing specimens for the new Hall of Geology and Paleontology .

Dave was supported by the Texas Natural Science Center.

Comment: Dave is now a PhD candidate at Ohio University.
