Research Assistants

Graduate students

The collections move forward with the immense help supplied by graduate students. They are involved in all aspects of management and curation depending upon their expertise.

The Jackson School of Geosciences is a resource for such students, especially those within the Paleontology program.

Graduate student stipends are high and we rely upon grant support and endowment funds to cover such hires.

Undergraduate students

Undergraduate students are available throughout the University community. The University supported workstudy program is a great resource.

In addition undergraduates from the Jackson School of Geosciences are hired especially when the project requires prior geological training.
