Family Fossil Fun Day

Come celebrate everything prehistoric at Texas Memorial Museum! Make discoveries in our fossil dig pit, talk with a paleontologist and do a little time-traveling.
1:30-2 p.m. Ice Age Austin - Come for a hands-on exploration of fossil mammals including saber-toothed cats, mammoths and giant armadillos. (4th floor, theatre)
3-3:30 p.m. Dinosaur Hunt - "dino-mite" storytelling for the whole family! (4th floor, theatre)

Family Fossil Fun Day is part of Austin Museum Partnership's annual Austin Museum Day, a FREE community-wide re-discovery of Austin museums.

Texas Memorial Museum is the exhibit hall and education/outreach unit of the Texas Natural Science Center at UT-Austin.
Regular museum hours are Monday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., and Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
The Museum is located at 2400 Trinity Street (2 blocks north of the UT stadium).
