Photographers are encouraged to submit their photos to be considered for display on this web site, and to further our scientific and educational efforts. Please contact Bill Elliott (below).
All images posted here are copyrighted by the original photographers. Photographers will be listed here so that others may contact them. Visitors to this site must not publish any image posted here in any print or digital form without the express, written permission of the original photographer. Many of these images have been or will be marketed commercially in a higher resolution. Students and teachers may use the images in a classroom activity without express permission, but not in a textbook or other published work. Please let us know if you use the photos for educational purposes—we would like to hear about your project! —Bill Elliott

Bill is the state cave biologist for Missouri. He began caving in Texas in 1967, and has been photographing since1971. He has worked in many states in the USA, and in Belize and Mexico. In the 1980s he compiled a collection of 100 slides by various photographers for the NSS Biology Section. Many of those photos are on this web site along with many newer ones.
