Additional funding for the garden is needed. Those
wishing to make a financial contribution should contact Claudette Hartman,
vice president of special projects for the Austin Area Garden Council , at
512-330-9409. Naming opportunities are available for substantial
financial contributions.
Additional projects are currently in the planning stages,
such as the six foot bronze sculpture of a marine turtle, Osteopygis,
the fossil remains of which were found at the
site in 1992.
Though local gardeners and nurseries have donated many
plants, there are still opportunities to donate plant materials.
There is also more work to be done in the garden that will require
volunteer help. Those interested in a rare opportunity to get
horticultural experience with some very unusual plants, or wishing to make
plant donations should contact Craig Nazor at 512-836-5087.
