Our Conservation Policy

Since 1961 the TSS has published 34 reports on Texas caves. For conservation reasons most of these reports are available only to members of recognized caving organizations, university researchers, and conservationists. TSS reserves the right not to provide publications or information if it could result in the degradation of cave or karst resources.

TSS/TSA Library

Cavers, students, and teachers are welcome to make an appointment to come by the TSSOffice in Austin and use our library. We have books and many back issues of The Texas Caver, NSSNews, NSSBulletin (Journal of Cave and Karst Studies), grotto newsletters, and reports. We have a small lending library of books and CD-ROMS for teachers and students from kindergarten to college level. Sorry, no loans through the mail at this time.
