The verbal and quantitative Graduate Record Examinations are required for admission. Formal application must be made to The University of Texas at Austin, Office of Admissions. You may complete a substantial part of the application process at the following web site: http://www.utexas.edu/student/giac/

At least three letters of recommendation and a personal statement of the applicant's interests and goals are also required. In addition, it is recommended that a copy of your letter plus a summary of GRE scores and GPA be sent to one of the faculty members in Vertebrate Paleontology.
