Vertebrate Paleontology Laboratory: Collections

The Sellards Collection

Dr. Sellards retired from the Bureau of Economic Geology to become Director of the Texas Memorial Museum. During his service in that capacity he brought together another large collection of approximately 7,000 specimens, at a cost of about $20,000. Most of this material is of Pleistocene age.
