| Insurance Covers All but $100,000 |
| The University is responsible for the first $100,000 in
damage under its blanket insurance policy with Allstate Insurance Company. Anything above
this amount is covered by the company, and there is no limit on the amount. The policy covers buildings, equipment, supplies, books, and other related items of the entire University system (not just the main campus), James Colvin, business manager of the Main University, said. Representatives of Allstate, contacted Tuesday in Skokie, Ill., said that the University took out the policy in September, 1962. Since that time, the University has filed no damage claims. Summer Texan. August 10, 1965. |
