Over the coming fiscal year, UT Austin will undertake shared services pilots in Administrative Services and Information Technology (IT) leveraging two campus organizations:

Academic Technology Support (ATS):

Senior Systems Administrator - Serve as a team lead to a gropu providing systemadministration of departmental servers and storage. Work as part of a project team to evaluate and transition departmental IT services to standard campus IT services.

Systems Administrator II - Linux Systems Administrator - Provide system administration of departmental servers and storage. Work as part of a project team to evaluate and transition departmental IT services to standard campus IT services. 

Systems Administrator II - Windows Systems Administrator - Provide system administration of departmental servers and storage. Work as part of a project team to evaluate and transition departmental IT services to standard campus IT services.

Central Business Office (CBO):

Interface Manager - Train as an interface manager, who serves as primary business affairs point-of-contact for assigned departments/offices ensuring efficient operation and high quality customer service is provided to clients. Incumbent will be promoted to Interface Manager at conclusion of training period.

Senior Payments Specialist - Serve as reviewer and second approver on all CBO-related payment vouchers. Ensure that all payment vouchers are processed in an accurate and timely fashion. Resolve payment problems of a routine nature.

Senior Procurement Specialist - Provide purchasing services to Central Business Office clients. Procure goods and services necessary for operation of the University's teaching, administrative and research functions in accordance with State and University regulations. Resolve procurement problems of a routine nature.
