Final Recommendations

With the guidance of the Shared Services Steering Committee, the Findings and Recommendations represent the many diverse views of the UT Austin campus that were expressed during Campus Dialogue, a revew period that occurred after the UT Shared Services Plan - Draft was shared with the campus in October 2013. The goals of shared services remain the same:

  • Maintain and/or improve the quality of service the campus has come to expect
  • Enhance the career opportunities for administrative staff
  • Reduce the costs of delivering administrative services

Achieving these goals will improve administrative efficiency and raise new revenue in support of the core academic mission of the university, teaching and research.
