Group Travel
Booking Group Flights
We recommend that you work with one of the university’s contracted travel agencies to get help booking group flights. Keep the following in mind when booking flights for a group:
- Airlines define a “group” as 10 or more individuals traveling to the same destination
- Groups of 10 or more individuals traveling to the same destination are not eligible for State of Texas contract airfare
Group Hotel Bookings
We recommend that you use the same contracted travel agency to book your group’s airfare and hotel rooms. If you don’t work with a travel agency or if you’re planning a meeting or conference, you may want to take advantage of group hotel booking services.
