Description: The Distinguished Speakers Committee presents CNN journalist Soledad O'Brien, maker of the award-winning documentary "Black in America" on November 9, 2009 to the Texas Union. She will give a lecture on race and race relations in the United States today.

In order to attend this lecture, you must first pick up a free pass from the Events & Info Desk in the Texas Union (4.300) following these rules:

1. Free pass distribution will begin on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 7:30AM at the Texas Union's Events & Info Desk (UNB 4.300).

2. After the first day, passes will be handed out from 8:00AM-5:00PM until they all have been distributed.

3. To obtain a pass, you must present a valid UT Austin student, staff or faculty I.D.

4. You will receive only ONE pass per I.D., and you may only use ONE I.D. per person.
