Description: ***Madrigal Dinner is SOLD OUT for the Friday and Saturday showings. Tickets will be available to purchase at the door for the Wednesday and Thursday showings beginning at 5:30pm.***
Come out and experience Madrigal Dinner 2009, which is a 30 year UT tradition! Enjoy an original, comedic Renaissance themed play, choir concert, and a four course meal in the Texas Union Ballroom.
Madrigal will be held on the nights of November 18th-21st. A cash bar will be available starting at 5:30pm and dinner will begin at 6:30pm.
Tickets for the annual Madrigal Dinner will go on sale starting October 19th at 10:00am through texasboxoffice.com or in person at the Frank Erwin Center. (Ticket are NOT purchased through the Texas Union).
General Public Tickets: $30, $28, $26
UT Student Tickets: $17, $15, $13
(You must present a valid University of Texas STUDENT I.D. at the door for student tickets.)
Menu options:
Meat option: Chicken Parmesan--breaded chicken with parmesan cheese
topped with artichokes, tomato, and mushrooms.
Vegetarian option: Vegetable Wellington--Layers of fresh garden vegetables,
herbs and Swiss cheese wrapped in a flaky puff pastry crust, then baked until golden brown. Served over a creamy marinara sauce.
Each meal will start with bread, salad and drinks, including wassail.
All meals come with green beans with roasted pine nuts and roasted potatoes. Dessert for the evening will be the traditional chocolate chip bread pudding with a warm whiskey sauce.
You may select your menu option when you purchase your tickets.
