Student Assistant
- Department: Hospitality Desk
- Description: This position with the TX Union Hospitality Center will increase your resume profile with office, events-related and professional customer service skills. Duties include acting as the customer point of contact for events-related information, utilizing scheduling software, communicating with clients, data entry, organizing and filing paperwork, answering multiple lines, handling lost & found, answering FAQs, and providing directions and campus-related information.
- Preferred Qualifications: Must be computer savvy, customer- and detail- oriented as well as excellent at multi-tasking.

Film Projectionist
- Department: Audio Visual
- Description: This position with the Texas Union Audio/Visual department will be responsible for showing movies in the Texas Union Theatre using a wide range of film projection equipment.
- Preferred Qualifications: UT Student. Experience working in a theatre environment performing projectionist duties to include film projection, build-up, tear-down, and some projector maintenance.
- Hours: Schedule varies. Hours to be determined by film schedule.

- Pay Rate: $7.50/hour
- Requirements:
UT or other college student registered for at least 6 credit hours for Fall 2010. • Must have prior 35 mm film projector experience. • Available evenings, particularly Thursdays, and weekends.
Student Assistant
- Department: Events & Info Desk (SEC)
- Description: This position with the Student Events Center (SEC) will be responsible for providing customer service (over the phone and in person), passing out keys to student organization lockers and offices within the Texas Union, assisting with postal services and administrative duties, keeping up-to-date with SEC programs, selling tickets and distributing free passes, and other related tasks as required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Outgoing person with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Good communication skills. Knowledge of the University and Austin communities. Experience using standard office software, office machinery, and familiarity with the Internet.
- Hours: 10-15 per week

Student Assistant

- Description: Provide telephone support, perform data entry, update and maintain filing systems and archival materials, transport contracts and other documents from Union to other campus departments, general clerical/ administrative duties, drive University vehicle to run errands on and off campus, other related tasks as assigned.
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication skills, strong customer service skills, demonstrated attention to detail in a working environment, working knowledge of standard office machines including copier, personal computers (Macintosh preferred), printer, fax machine and multi-line telephone; familiarity with UT campus.
