Are there places to watch TV around the Texas Union?
Four Union locations have TV sets, and three of those are on the main (2nd) level. The Showroom, on the south side of the Food Court, has 4 TVs with preset channels that cannot be changed (CNN, Ch. 8 and 2 on ESPN). The Forty Acres Room, on the north side of the Food Court, has 3 televisions that are pre-set as well (CNN, Ch. 8 and ESPN). Pearce Hall, a room off the Forty Acres Room, has 1 TV, and the channel can be changed after 3pm. The two big screen TVs in the Union Underground are preset to broadcasts of major sporting events.Back to FAQ List
