Annual Report
The purpose of this annual report is to offer information about the Student Events Center, and provide an understanding of its goals and direction for the academic year. The Student Events Center (SEC) maintains as an important part of the culture of the University of Texas at Austin student experience. The SEC serves as a means for students to discover their individual skills and abilities, make new connections, and build life-long skills. It also serves as a medium for student services and faculty partnerships as well as an integral component of recruitment and retention.
The Student Events Center provides leadership and or support for the following programs and services: Student Events Center committees and organizations, leadership training through retreats, and event ticketing. In addition to its programmatic responsibilities, the SEC also provides support to students through student organization office space and locker rentals.
