About

Every undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin will interact with the programs and people that comprise the Undergraduate College. The college brings together four operational areas—Enrollment Management; Admissions; Academic and Curricular Innovation; and the Office of Student Success—with a singular focus on supporting students throughout their college journeys. The college directs a large number of undergraduate programs and initiatives that pave the way for a more cohesive student experience, full of learning, creativity, innovation, and problem solving.

The Undergraduate College was formed when the School of Undergraduate Studies (UGS) was united with the Office of Enrollment Management into a new combined portfolio. This transformation represented a pivotal moment in the University’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the undergraduate experience and fostering student success. Students now benefit from one collaborative team that oversees the college journey through recruitment, admission to the university, registration for classes, access to research and other degree-enhancing opportunities, academic and holistic support, and timely graduation.

In 2022, as UGS and Enrollment Management evolved into the Undergraduate College, Dr. Richard Reddick was appointed as senior vice provost for curriculum and enrollment and dean of Undergraduate Studies.
