Cost to Participate

Archer Fellows participating in the 2012-2013 academic year will pay a $4,500 program fee in lieu of the usual UT Austin tuition. This program fee is less than what UT Austin students pay for standard flat-rate tuition.

The 2012-2013 cost for Archer Fellowship Program housing is $4,812 per person for the semester. This price includes the application fee and security deposit. Meals are not included. Students will have additional costs associated with books, living expenses, and transportation within Washington, D.C.

Financing your semester in Washington, D.C.

Because you will be registered as a full-time, in-residence UT Austin student, all financial aid you ordinarily receive will apply. Archer Fellows are encouraged to file a Special/Unusual Circumstances Appeal Form to have their financial aid package re-evaluated to take into account the higher cost of living in Washington, D.C.

Scholarships are available; once selected, Archer Fellows will receive information on how to apply for the Archer-specific scholarships.
