Discuss your general career path since graduating from UT.

After graduation, I moved to New York City to join Deloitte Consulting as a business technology analyst working in financial services. I later transitioned to the marketing strategy team at Macys.com as a digital marketing manager for women’s accessories. That role led me to where I am today as a research associate at L2 Think Tank, advising clients, such as Macy’s, on best practices in digital marketing.

How did your BDP experience influence your career path and interests?

As a research associate at L2 Think Tank, I conduct benchmarking research across the fashion and retail industries to assess brands’ digital competence and help companies identify where they are strong and weak, relative to their competition. Although my digital marketing background laid the foundation for my transition to this role, the experience of conducting undergraduate research through the BDPs inspired me to explore a more academic application for my marketing skills.
