• Creative Project (Digital Arts & Media students only): The Connecting Experiences Creative Project Contract and Guidelines (PDF) requires your primary and secondary faculty mentors’ signatures.
• Internship: The Connecting Experiences Internship Contract and Guidelines (PDF) requires your faculty mentor signature.
• Internship: Please ask your on-site internship advisor to complete the Internship Sponsor Form (PDF).
• Research: The Connecting Experiences Research Contract and Guidelines (PDF) requires your faculty mentor signature.

Important Dates and Deadlines

For students completing a Connecting Experience abroad, you will also be responsible for complying with the Student Travel Policy for International Locations established by the UT Study Abroad Office. Allow at least 3 to 4 weeks for this process. Consult your BDP advisor if you have any questions.

If completing a Connecting Experience during summer 2013 semester:

• April 1, 2013, by 5 p.m.: Connecting Experience Abroad Proposal, Faculty Mentor Contract, and Internship Sponsorship form (if applicable).

• May 14, 2013, by 5 p.m.: Connecting Experience (in the U.S.) Proposal, Faculty Mentor Contract, and Internship Sponsorship form (if applicable).

• August 16, 2013, by 5 p.m.: Reflection Essay due

If completing a Connecting Experience during fall 2013 semester:

• August 1, 2013, by 5 p.m. Connecting Experience Abroad Proposal, Faculty Mentor Contract, and Internship Sponsorship form (if applicable).

• September 3, 2013, by 5 p.m.: Connecting Experience (in the U.S.) Proposal, Faculty Mentor Contract, and Internship Sponsorship form (if applicable).

• December 6, 2013, by 5 p.m.: Reflection Essay due
