The BDP Student Cabinet acts as the student voice for the BDPs. The Cabinet works in collaboration with the BDP coordinator and advisors to organize community-building events, develop new initiatives, and brainstorm new ways of enhancing the BDPs. Albert Palacios is the representative to the Student Cabinet for Cultural Studies.

As a Cultural Studies student, Jared is interested in exploring pop culture, media, and the entertainment industry in America. In the spring of 2009, Jared interned with Fox Searchlight Pictures in Hollywood, then spent the summer as an intern with the Entertainment Division of Moroch and Associates in Dallas.
