The BDP Student Cabinet acts as the student voice for the BDPs. The Cabinet works in collaboration with the BDP coordinator and advisors to organize community-building events, develop new initiatives, and brainstorm new ways of enhancing the BDPs. In her first Connecting Experience, Sarah worked on reverse-engineering current game controllers to generate new ideas for alternate methods of gaming. She had the opportunity to travel to Portugal and present her research in Spring 2008.
“I found the BDP to provide a starting point for me to narrow down my wide range of interests. I wasn’t completely sure what major I wanted, but I did know the general direction I wanted to follow. The Digital Arts and Media BDP had classes that covered all my potential options.”
