Students looking for information about flags should visit the UGS Flags page.
The purpose of the Ethics and Leadership flag is to equip students with skills that are necessary for making ethical decisions in their adult and professional lives. To that end, courses carrying this flag expose students to ethical issues and to the process of applying ethical reasoning in real-life situations.
Once the flags have been fully implemented, all undergraduates will be required to earn credit for at least one course flagged for Ethics and Leadership. Information on requirements for individual degree programs can be found in the current Undergraduate Catalog.
