Peer Mentors - Interviewing

Candidates will be selected for interviews based upon the strength of their applications and letters of recommendation. Returning mentors are exempt from interviews.

If you are selected for an interview, you will receive an email with the time, date and further information on what you can expect from the process.

Interviews will be held in mid-December before finals begin. FIG staff members, departmental advisors/professional staff members and returning FIG mentors all help with the interview process. The interview is individual and takes about 15 minutes.

Interview conflicts will be handled on a case-by-case basis. You are expected to be available for the interview process. If this is not possible, you must contact the FIG office to reschedule your interview. If you do not show up to your interview, you will not be considered for the position.
