Nominate Yourself

The university invites many rising high school seniors to the annual Honors Colloquium. Most of the students who receive invitations are from Texas and scored above a certain level on the PSAT and/or SAT (as reported through the Student Search Service of the College Board). Invitation to the Honors Colloquium will be mailed in May 2010.

Students interested in being invited to the 29th Honors Colloquium who have not yet received their printed invitation may send the following materials to us:

  • A letter of interest from the student (please be sure to include an email address for further contact information)
  • A copy of the student’s most recent high school transcript
  • A copy of the student’s ACT, PSAT, or SAT test scores
  • A supporting letter of recommendation from a high school teacher or counselor
  • These materials should be sent no earlier than May 1 and be received no later than May 30, 2010. All materials should be sent to:

Students will be notified of the status of their nomination via email no later than June 1, 2010. PLEASE NOTE: Space at the Colloquium is limited and registration closes June 10, 2010 or when capacity has been reached.
