Since 1982, Honors Colloquium has given exceptional students the opportunity to see the quality of the student educational experience at The University of Texas at Austin. The colloquium experience features lectures, seminars and discussions with professors distinguished in the sciences, humanities and the arts, tours and demonstrations in UT’s laboratories, libraries and museums as well as cultural and recreational programs. It is a unique tool in the college search process.
On Thursday afternoon of the Honors Colloquium, parents and family members are invited to participate in a special two-hour program. Experts in admissions, undergraduate education, on-campus housing, scholarships, financial aid and first-year honors programs will provide information about undergraduate program, student services, and the enrollment process.
