Advising

Longhorn Scholars have access to excellent advising through their colleges and the Longhorn Scholars Program. Each semester, Longhorn Scholars meet with a college advisor and a Longhorn Scholars Advisor. Longhorn Scholars Advisors work individually with students to identify potential majors, career paths, internships, and other opportunities suited to students’ individual needs from freshman year through graduation.
Longhorn Scholars Advisors provide students with personal guidance, support, and advocacy. Our office offers a safe environment that is encouraging and supportive of students’ needs, interests, and challenges, both inside and outside the classroom. We are here to help Longhorn Scholars find their place within the university.
