Advising

Longhorn Scholars have access to excellent advising through their colleges and the Longhorn Scholars Program. Each semester, our students meet with a college advisor and a Longhorn Scholars Program Advisor. Our advisors work individually with students to identify potential majors, career paths, internships, and other opportunities suited to students’ specific needs from freshman year through graduation.

Advisors provide students with personal guidance, support, and advocacy. Our office offers a safe environment that is encouraging and supportive of students’ needs, interests, and challenges, both inside and outside the classroom. We are here to help Longhorn Scholars find their place within the university.
