The award celebrates outstanding chapters that have shown continued excellence in chapter programming, communications, and service. The UT Austin chapter does ongoing, extensive service work across campus and Austin, including Longhorn Halloween, Race for the Cure, collections for the Michah 6 Food Pantry, and more. The chapter is also highly visible on campus, serving as the exclusive student hosts for Honors Day, and awarded its first local chapter scholarships in spring 2011.
