New Interdisciplinary Certificate Program

The Bridging Disciplines Programs has added a new concentration in Conflict Resolution & Peace Studies. Students take strands of courses grouped to help them become more flexible thinkers while preparing them for the professional world with experience that supplements a regular degree.(read more)

$1.5 Million Gift Will Create Chair in Undergraduate Studies

Tom and Jeanie Carter of Houston have pledged $1.5 million to benefit the School of Undergraduate Studies. The bequest will ultimately create the Thomas L. and Eugenia G. Carter Chair in Undergraduate Studies, which will be held by the school’s dean.(read more)
