May 2013 BDP Graduates Set Out to Change the World

This spring, over 60 students graduated with BDP certificates. Representing more than 40 areas of study, this outstanding group of students completed 53 internships, 55 research projects, and eight creative projects. Student Profile: Mathew Oldiges

Mathew, a nursing major, spent the summer at the MD Anderson Cancer Center as a clinical ethics intern. While shadowing physicians, he also participated in lectures exploring ethical frameworks and conducted research. He's pursuing a BDP certificate in Ethics & Leadership.(read more)
