Rob Reichle Robert V. Reichle, Ph.D.

Rob Reichle joined the School of Undergraduate Studies in 2014. He received his B.A. in linguistics and French from Rice University in 2002, and his Ph.D. in French linguistics from The University of Texas at Austin in 2008. Prior to joining the Office of Undergraduate Research, he conducted research on the brain signatures of gameplay and second language processing as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Foreign Languages at Northern Illinois University. While there, he also involved undergraduates in research and poster sessions through the Center for the Interdisciplinary Study of Language and Literacy. He has taught courses in French, psycholinguistics, and second language acquisition.

Anna Hornsby received their B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin in anthropology and Scandinavian studies in 2014. In 2018, they completed their M.A. in archaeology at Lund University in Lund, Sweden, where they focused on web-based communication, 3D modeling and digital methods, and ethical methodological practice in archaeological public outreach. They also have experience in workshopping, academic editing and writing, tutoring, and student outreach. In their current role, Anna assists the Office of Undergraduate Research with administrative support.


Britta Hanson Britta Hanson

Britta Hanson is a PhD candidate in the Department of Radio-Television-Film. She earned her undergraduate degree in English and History at Northwestern University, and her master’s Critical Studies at University of Southern California. She is a media historian-in-training, published in ‘Flow, Film and History, The Velvet Light Trap, and The Spectator.’ Her dissertation examines the trans-industrial flows of postwar American media, focusing on the influence of theater on film and television through adaptation.
