Scholarships and awards to support undergraduate research are available through the Office of Undergraduate Research and through colleges and programs throughout the university.
The Office of Undergraduate Research is pleased to offer Research or Conference Travel scholarships, which are awarded to select UT undergraduates to help them pursue research beyond Austin or present their work at a conference. These awards are offered in the fall and spring, and typically range between $100 and $350. Some preference is shown for students who do not have alternative sources of funding available to them. Students interested in applying should return the application form by Friday, March 13, 2015.
Students in the Longhorn Scholars Program are invited to apply for the Longhorn Scholars Research Award. The award is designed to encourage students to get involved in research during their time at The University of Texas at Austin. Awards will range from $250 to $1,000 for students pursuing and receiving course credit for their undergraduate research experiences in spring 2015. To be eligible to apply for this award, you must
