Each semester, PACE students take a minimum of 12 hours from a pre-approved list of ACC courses and one course at UT Austin. Academic advisors on both campus help students choose approved courses to ensure they meet program requirements.
During their first semester in the program, PACE students take Signature Courses at UT Austin and additional courses at ACC’s Rio Grande campus. In subsequent semesters, students work with their academic advisors to select and register for courses that align with their academic interests and goals.
PACE students also participate in a 360 Connection, a small group of freshmen who meet regularly to discuss academic integrity, leadership, and UT Austin traditions and support each other in the transition from high school to college.
