Jordan’s outstanding academic record has earned him the title of College Scholar. Jordan entered UT as an undeclared student in UGS, and, after exploring his interests, now hopes to major in public health and pursue dental school.
Ryan’s stellar academic performance has earned him the title of College Scholar. Ryan initially planed to major in electrical engineering. While enrolled in Undergraduate Studies, he discovered passions for finance and accounting.
When Sachin got to UT he wanted to major in finance but after taking calculus classes he discovered his true passion lies in actuarial science. Sachin would like to work in either the insurance or consulting industries. He has focused on maintaining a good GPA and it has paid off—he was named a College Scholar in 2015.
Shakeel’s outstanding academic record has earned him the title of College Scholar. Shakeel entered UT as an undeclared student in UGS, and, after exploring his interests, now plans to major in finance and pursue a career as an entrepreneur and investor.
Due to Trey’s outstanding academic achievements, he is the first Undergraduate Studies student to be named a Distinguished College Scholar. Trey arrived on campus as a Health Science Honors-Biology student but transferred into UGS to explore his options after realizing he was no longer interested in becoming a doctor.
Tobi has been interested in business and entrepreneurship since he was a kid with a lemonade stand. Now, after taking a variety of classes that have helped hone his abilities, he is confident he will be able to succeed whether he chooses to major in business or economics. Tobi hopes to own his own business one day and is a member of the Longhorn Entrepreneurship Agency. He was named a College Scholar in 2015.
