Baker Dunan is chairman for Duncan-Smith Investments and previously served as senior vice president for Rotan Mosle, a wealth management company. He also was headmaster of the Woodberry Forest School in Virginia.
An active San Antonio citizen, Baker is trustee emeritus for Trinity University, director of the Southwest Research Institute, and governor emeritus of San Antonio’s Texas Military Institute.

Passionate about historic preservation, Baker has led the charge to make Gonzales, a small historic Texas town 70 miles outside of San Antonio, a tourist destination. Baker put together a partnership with other San Antonio investors that acquired more than a half-block of buildings in Gonzales’ historic district.
Baker completed his undergraduate education at Yale University and earned a master’s degree in history from The University of Texas at Austin. He currently resides in San Antonio with his wife Sally. The couple has three sons.
