In collaboration with the School of Undergraduate Studies and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) program is excited to announce the TSI 2012 Summer Bridge Program. This unique, intensive, summer living-learning community provides students with an opportunity to develop the academic skills they will need to succeed in their first semester at the University of Texas at Austin.
Students selected for the TSI 2012 Summer Bridge Program will take two summer developmental education courses and a learning community seminar designed to facilitate the transition to campus life at UT Austin. This five-week intensive program includes small seminar courses, access to peer mentors, undergraduate peer tutors and a professional staff dedicated to assuring student success.

The TSI Summer Bridge Program begins with attendance at the 2012 Freshman Summer Orientation from June 27—29, 2012 and summer courses that run from July 9, 2012 to August 10, 2012. Participants can move into the residential halls starting July 8th and should plan to move out by August 14th.
Participation in the TSI Summer Bridge program is limited and candidates should indicate interest as soon as possible. Candidates are considered on a first-come, first-serve basis, and selected candidates will be contacted by May 31, 2012. Please note that we will use email for official correspondence during the application process for the TSI Summer Bridge program.
