Your abilities go beyond what you learn in your classes, and this activity helps you identify those. Lots of skills cross subject areas and having a better idea of what you're good at can help you to recognize those skills that are transferable to many different majors and careers. You'll also begin to consider which skills may need improvement and where you wish you were more skilled. This activity is also in the Figuring Myself Out section.

Exploring majors involves more than just figuring out your personal interests, your best subjects, and understanding your reasons for being undecided. It also includes, very importantly, personal and work-related values. These affect the circumstances of your professional and personal life, such as what kind of environment you want to work in, what kinds of things give you satisfaction, and more.
