Position description:
I help people live healthy and happy lives through chiropractic care. It involves working one on one with people's unique needs to help them attain a healthier spine and state of being. We perform consultations, exams and x-rays in most cases. Review people's findings and provide care. Adjustments, along with stretches and exercises are given to help people achieve their goals.
Undergrad Degree: Psychology
Favorite Class in College: History of Psychology
Changing Majors: Changing from a Biology/ Chemistry (double major) to Psychology was one of the best decisions I ever made. I had horrible grades in Chemistry up to my junior year when i visited an academic advisor who told me that I didn't have to stick to that major if there was something else I was interested in. He pointed out to me that I had a 4.0 GPA in Psychology and that maybe Psychology was a better fit for me. It worked out great.
Graduate Degree: Doctor of Chiropractic
College To Career: I worked in another doctors' chiropractic office for a few months right after my graduate education. Then I realized I was ready to go my own and tread my own path.
Career Influences: Meeting successful chiropractors and seeing first hand the difference they can make on their communities is what drove me to this profession.
