Asian American Culture promotes the richness and diversity of Asian and Asian American cultures on campus through a variety of events. Members are involved in the planning, production, and promotion of ACC events year-round.

Asian American Culture presents a variety of events throughout the year.
Past events include:

  • Break It Down!
    featuring Poreotics
  • InspirAsian
    featuring Wong Fu Productions and a host of locally involved members of the Austin and Houston communities
  • Lunar New Year (an annual event of ACC)
  • Laugh out loud with Eliot Chang (comedy)
  • Music@theMall
    featuring Joseph Vincent and Andrew Kim  

Asian American Culture has also planned events in co-sponsorship with other UT organizations, including:

  • You Bring Out (YBO) the Asian American in Me
    with Asian Pacific Desi-Islander American Collective (APAC)
  • Out on the Front Lines
    featuring Lt. Daniel Choi with Distinguished Speakers, the Gender and Sexuality Center, and QPOCA.
