Campus Events + Entertainment (E+E) Showtime invites you to take part in the student-run 7th Annual Texas Union Film Festival! TUFF will challenge, entertain and move you! It’s the place to showcase your video short and compete with your peers. It’s also the place to embrace your fellow UT students’ creativity and how they see and interpret the world through film.

E+E Showtime is proud to present the 7th Annual Texas Union Film Festival, a night highlighting the cinematic talents of UT's students.
Start the evening with a pre-festival red-carpet walk at 6:00pm on the TEXAS UNION EAST PATIO, featuring UT student musical talents.
Then join us in the TEXAS UNION THEATRE (UNB 2.228) at 7:00pm for an introduction of guest judges and the film screenings, followed by judging and the awards presentation.

Below are helpful dates and information regarding the 6th Annual Texas Union Film Festival:
Films for the competition must be under 10 minutes in length (see FAQ for more information on content length and exceptions). Exceptions to the length may be made on a case by case basis. Films must be submitted on a USB drive or DVD. The short must be filmed off of the UT campus, or previously made for an academic course. Films up to two (2) years old may be used. No work from high school will be accepted. Each student may submit more than one film, but only one may be selected to be screened at the festival.
Submission forms for 2016 can be downloaded here or picked up at the Campus Events + Entertainment Office (UNB 4.312) starting in December.
