Come and join the Student Events Center Music & Entertainment Committee (MEC) for a night of smooth sounds and good company. For years, the MEC Patio Series has been bringing great local bands to campus. This year's act is the East Side Dandies jazz band. In addition to great music, there will be free Starbucks coffee and hot chocolate to keep you warm on what's shaping up to be a crisp autumn night.

The East Side Dandies are a modern band jazz band that play the hits of the 1920s and 1930s. Normally found playing every Thursday evening at East Side Showroom (right in the heart of downtown Austin on East 6th Street), the Dandies are a favorite of Austin dancers and jazz enthusiasts.
