Forty Acres Fest 2014

Come out to the 22nd annual Forty Acres Fest! Texas Traditions invites you to enjoy live music all day and evening, fun attractions and organization booths, and our special evening main act.

From 2 - 7pm, Main Mall, South Mall and West Mall will be full of student organization booths with games, food and fun. Enjoy our daytime acts on the main stage leading up to our headliner at 7:00pm. Daytime bands include Kato Dox, the Duncan Fellows Band, Blue Bear, the Ben Baxter Band and opening for our headliner, Quiet Company!

Campus Events + Entertainment Headliners is proud to announce that this year's headlining act will be Sleigh Bells! The Brooklyn-based noise-pop duo formed in 2008 and consists of lead singer Alexis Krauss and guitarist Derek Edward Miller. The duo has three albums to their credit. Their debut album Treats (2008) peaked at No. 36 on The Billboard 200. Following the release of their second album Reign of Terror (2012), Sleigh Bells made their musical debut on Saturday Night Live that same year. On Oct. 8, 2013, they released their third studio album Bitter Rivals featuring their lead single by the same name.
