BGSA presents Ise Lyfe - Celebrating Black History Month Across Cultures

Campus Events + Entertainment Events CoSponsorship Committee is proud to cosponsor Ise Lyfe - Celebrating Black History Month Across Cultures: A unique performance from one of the nation's premier artists and educators.

What Are We Thinking is a performance lecture by one of the leading Spoken Word and Hip-Hop Theater artists in the country, Ise Lyfe. His performance will address American apathy, prejudice, the commodification of Black/Brown death, and the objectification of women.

Thought-provoking and even humorous at different points - the piece also gives space for us to laugh at ourselves as students are challenged to be better world citizens and conscientious of the role they play in ending prejudice. The presentation blends spoken word, Hip-Hop theater, and a multi-media screen to engage participants in this collective discourse.
