University Fashion Group presents Spectrum Fashion Show

Campus Events + Entertainment Events CoSponsorship Board is proud to cosponsor Spectrum Fashion Show.

The time has come for UT Austin's annual senior fashion show. This year's show, 'Spectrum,' presented by Lexus of Austin, will take place in the Frank Erwin Center on April 24th beginning at 7:15pm. Admission is free and the event is open to the public. Tickets can be picked up in the box office at Frank Erwin Center. These tickets are free, and if you pick them up before the show, you can avoid lines on the night of 'Spectrum.' The event will also serve as the official kickoff for Austin Fashion Week.

Fashion Alley, a mecca of Austin retailers and fashion experts, will begin at 5:30pm. Beginning at the same time will be the Immersed in Cotton Room, sponsored by Cotton Incorporated's Cotton University, which will feature student research and design projects, as well as the entries for the Lexus of Austin Design Challenge.

Twenty-six apparel design students will present over 120 original designs on the runway using a mix of textures and techniques. Designers for 'Spectrum' have created cutting-edge performance designs that move beyond ordinary uses - they become safety garments, incorporate digital prints, programmable lights, performance fabrics, as well as other creative innovations. Come out for a night of serious fashion and to support our UT senior designers!
