Student Events Center Info Session

Maybe you're new on campus and want to find out how to get involved or meet new people, or maybe you're a campus veteran who would like to add "large-scale event planning" or "marketing" skills to your resume. Whatever your need, we have a committee for you! Join us at our Student Events Center Info Session for information on how you can get involved, from event-planning to marketing, budgeting to leadership development.

The SEC facilitates active student learning through the process of event production and leadership development. SEC committees and organizations develop and present social, recreational, educational and cultural programs and activities for the University community. Students who participate in Union committees and organizations acquire experience in organizing University events; have the opportunity to exercise leadership through committee structures; meet and socialize with people of all cultures and backgrounds; receive professional advising in organizational skills, event management, and leadership development; and have a voice in how the University Unions' programming budget is spent.
