This food waiver is for reservations in the Student Activity Center for Registered Student Organizations and University Departments. If a field is required, but does not apply to your type of organization or reservation, please enter "not applicable" or "na" in the field.

  • Anything that must be heated
  • Anything that must be refrigerated

All events utilizing an outside caterer must submit an EHS Food Distribution Form.

Important - Please Note
  • Heating equipment is prohibited (no coffeepots or hot plates).
  • All events must supply their own dishes, utensils, and napkins.
  • All food must be pre-cooked prior to arrival at the Student Activity Center.
  • Coffee and tea may be brought in secure containers.
  • All trash must be disposed of and the area left clean. If additional clean up is required by the Student Activity Center staff, a cleaning fee will be assessed.
  • Any alcoholic beverages must be supplied through University Unions Catering. Alcohol is not permitted at student organization events.
  • If your food items require an EHS Food Distribution Form, please submit one at: http://www.utexas.edu/safety/ehs/food/. Please forward approval to sacreservations@universityunions.utexas.edu. Groups are responsible for cleaning up any room or rooms used.
  • Misuse of a room may result in the withdrawal of your organization's privileges to reserve space in the Student Activity Center.
  • Food waivers must be received at least within two days of the reservation.

By completing this form,  you and your organization hereby understand and agree to comply with the rules and regulations set by the Student Activity Center and release the Student Activity Center from any and all responsibility or liability for any injury or illness resulting from consumption of any food or beverage in the Student Activity Center.
