The Asian-American Culture Committee (ACC) promotes the richness and diversity of Asian and Asian-American cultures on campus through several events throughout the year. Committee members are involved in the planning, production, and promotion of ACC events year-round.

Tuesdays, 5-6pm, Student Activity Center, Rm. 1.106 (SAC 1.106). Everyone Welcome!

Show up to one of our meetings! Can't make a meeting? Email us at accofficers@gmail.com saying that you would like to be added to our listserve. You will receive email updates and meeting recaps. Everyone is welcome at our meetings, and it is free to join (NO membership fees or dues required)!


ACC presents a variety of events throughout the year. Past events include "Break It Down!" featuring Poreotics, "InspirAsian" featuring Wong Fu Productions and a host of locally involved members of the Austin and Houston communities, Lunar New Year (an annual event of ACC), "Music @ the Mall" featuring Joseph Vincent and Andrew Kim, and Miss UT Asia.

ACC has also planned events in cosponsorship with other UT organizations, including "You Bring Out (YBO) The Asian American in Me" with Asian Pacific Desi-Islander American Coalition (APAC) and "Out On The Front Lines" featuring Lt. Daniel Choi with the Distinguished Speakers Committee, the Gender and Sexuality Center, and QPOCA.
